Key Responsibilities:

Maddy Warman

Before the semester begins:

  • Checking in with intern managers on a bi-weekly basis during the hiring month(s) to ensure all departments are pacing towards their goal

Job descriptions should be made using this template. Hiring managers are responsible for ensuring your up-to-date job description in the Internship Job Description folder.

Prior to Recruitment:

  • Hiring managers must be responsible for submitting how many intern managers there will be & confirm the hiring goal in the “Department Hiring Goals” tab here

Marissa Maechling

  • TalentHub / job descriptions lifecycle: postings, edits, QA’ing, open, close

  • If a department is lacking, it is your responsibility to connect with the manager to understand the disconnect (do they have an influx of applications yet none are fits? Are prospects not accepting the offers? Are there a lack of applicants?)

    • You will then strategize on how best to move forward

      • Linkedin Messaging potential fits

      • Reaching out to colleges to see what fits they may have (their career centers)

      • Supporting in adjusting the application deadline, requirements, etc

      • Further connecting to see why they may be declining the offer

        • Ex. students thought the paid media internship was a paid, media internship
