Role Description:

  • The Empowering the Future Recruitment Champion is responsible for supporting the hiring of each semester’s ETF intern(s)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post opening on HandShake, specifically targeting HBCUs - see post details below

    • Schools: Morgan State University, Tennessee State University, Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, North Carolina A&T State University, Texas Southern University, Tuskegee University, Clark Atlanta University, Mississippi Valley State University, Morehouse College, Prairie View A&M University, Acron State University, Grambling State University, Harris-Stowe State University, Bowie State University, Jackson State University, Howard University, Alabama A&M University, Alabama State University, Southern University and A&M College at Baton Rouge, Lincoln University - Missouri, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Bethune-Cookman University

    • Review applications, screen call applicants, setup time for them to connect with departments of their interest

  • Once a candidate has been accepted, push through Asana Form, signed welcome letter is required before the candidate can start (this can be treated as a part-time offer)

    • Approved by JT, new hire paperwork completed, sent to Maddy to be added to ADP, paid through ADP as a part-time team member

  • Continue fostering relationships with HBCUs - setup potential events/virtual meet and greets etc.

Internship Position Details

Position Title: Digital Marketing Intern

Internship Term: [Spring/Summer/Fall] [YEAR]

Compensation: $14-$15 per hour

Desired Fields of Study: Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, PR, Influencer Marketing

Hours Desired: 10-15/week

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly under digital marketing strategists to support client work and gain experience working with real Power Digital clients!

  • Help facilitate the development and execution of marketing strategies for real clients

  • Navigating and working directly on the various ads platform

  • Creating campaigns

  • Pulling and Analyzing data

  • Optimizing ads

  • Launching new tests

  • Reporting and Analyzing

  • Data Accuracy + Completion

  • Analyzing data and coming up with next steps

  • New Business

  • Research

  • Reports

  • Recommendations

  • Organization or Department Resources + Processes

  • Google Drive

  • Asana Boards

  • Deliverable Trackers + Sheets

  • Deck Updates and Organization

  • Work across all departments and collaborate with team members agency-wide

  • When your schedule allows, attend regular trainings and cross-channel learning opportunities

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Detail-oriented

  • Analytical

  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks

  • Independent but not afraid to ask questions

  • Interested in learning more about digital marketing
