Role Description:
The Recruitment champion is responsible for supporting the hiring of each semester’s interns
Key Responsibilities
Set up times with colleges : UCSD, USD, SDSU, Chapman, UCI etc. for speaking opportunities to connect with students and encourage them to join our program
^ and coordinate direct inquiries from colleges to have PD reps at events on campus (i.e. SDSU AMA, USD, PLNU, Penn State, NYU, etc.)
Each time jobs are posted, reach out to collegiate organizations, professors, staff, students, etc to spread the word that they are open (have them reach out with students who are interested)
Support sourcing new contacts and outreach opportunities
Support with scheduling/handling calls from inquiring students who are interested in Power (specifically who reach out at events / through college postings)
Direct them to the job postings!!!!
Questionnaire: who are you where did you talk to someone at PDM, are they qualified, what is the dept they are interested in, connect them w someone in the dept Sydney Newcomb to assist with creating a questionnaire (first event mid November)
Have a list of the people from the above ^ and share this w the hiring managers
Handling referrals and passing them on to the correct hiring manager
