Role Description:
The EOS project champion is responsible for organizing, planning, and assisting in the EOS projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Before the semester begins:
Select clients - try to pick clients with bigger account teams or clients that interns would recognize/ enjoy working with
Organize groups - depending on how big the intern class is, divide them into semi equal groups with equal representation from each department (if possible)
Try to make their schedules match up as much as possible
Speak on the EOS Project during an Intern Manager meeting to go over project/intern expectations
During the semester:
Create intern slack groups
Organize a kick off meeting to go over the project in detail and set up a recurring meeting for their team
During this time we can establish their βAMβ
Share the general project rubric
Add the intern presentations to the intern calendar
Look at intern end dates before scheduling
This meeting should be 45 minutes and include the AM, Internship program champions, intern managers of the group, and their team
Check in on the teams regularly to ensure they are on track
After the presentations add up the scores from the google forms and select the winner
Resources:
Client one sheeter - given to each group at the beginning of the semester with general information about the client such as the account team, sample monthly reports, etc.
