Who are the Beavers?
The Beavers are a set of contractors regularly used by the Creative team. Their main expertise is Email creative and have been the go-to designers for Email through Power for years. We are now extending their efforts to Organic Social. Reminder: they are just creative resources, not copy, reporting, etc.
Why?
Because we’ve heard your feedback! Our social team contractors are not designers, so quality has suffered (though we did welcome Felicia to our contractor roster, who IS a dedicated designer!), and the creative team does contract for most tasks. Using the Beavers allows us to cut out Creative as the middleman, save more revenue for our department, and increase efficiency without compromising on quality.
How does it work?
You’ll be happy to see that the process is very similar to our creative / contractor process! You will still need to provide a detailed outlined, brand information, etc. each month.

What are the Beavers good at?
The Beavers can help us with social templates, net new social creatives, and even Social Analyses (though as of March 2025, we have not tested this yet).
What can’t the Beavers help with?
If you need something TODAY or tomorrow, or even the next day — they probably aren’t the best option. Please use existing templates to craft a design yourself, OR leverage one of our other social contractors (like Felicia).
How do I communicate with Beavers?
Through Asana. There is a slack channel, but this is only used for process updates or URGENT edits/needs. We should not need to use this.
How much do the Beavers cost?
Their rate is $25 an hour, which is similar to our standard contractor pricing when broken out by deliverable. They are very efficient and hit their deadlines consistently, so it’s a great option for our team! We have about $1500 allocated for Beavers support. That’s about 60 hours of work!
Who owns this process?
For organic social, it’s Kass! Go to her with any questions.
