Creative Assignment Process & Timeline

Outline the process for making requests to the creative department for email projects.

SPECIFICATIONS

It is super important before you proceed with your request to have clear the requirements and the scope of work in the client contract:

  • How many “emails” (designs) per month are they allowed?

  • Will they provide the assets, or will it be done from scratch?

  • How are they going to provide the assets? (Make sure that the whole team has access to them)

  • Is it just slicing the finalized design they provide?

  • How many rounds of revisions do they have? (Typically, this is two)

  • When submitting a request, reviewing design department timelines to ensure you're assigning the right due date whether it's a broadcast or automation campaign.

  • Who is the designer assigned to the account?

MILESTONES

  1. Fill out the request form with all necessary information as shown below (keeping in mind department timelines as noted above)

Reach out to the the designer:

  1. After creating your request, we recommend that you reach out to the designer via Slack or set up a short call to explain him/her the requirement and clear any questions or doubts they may have.

Follow up:

  1. Follow up on the design process through the Asana task comments section and/or the internal client Slack channel.

  2. Also, use these channels to notify the designer of any changes or feedback notified by the client.
