Lifecycle Assignment Process & Timeline (For Campaign Builds)

Outline the process for making requests to the lifecycle department for building email and/or SMS projects.

SPECIFICATIONS

The team members assigned to build emails are:

*Please keep in mind that they are in different time zones (The Philippines - GMT+08)

Once creative is approved, all of our emails are either sliced (image-based, HTML-coded, or a mix of template-built and image-based)

  • If the email is image-based, we are slicing the email into smaller sections that the Email Strategist builds in the ESP.

  • If the email is being coded, creative will package up their source files and any additional assets (generally gif files) and pass them to the strategist for coding to the Email Beavers (our BFF). (Email Beavers build submit form is HERE)

The third method for building emails could involve building out the structure with the template builder in the ESP. This might only require a few added assets from creative. It isn’t very common, but we do it on a few accounts.

Please allow for at least 1-2 business days for campaign builds dependent on volume when assigning out via the form.

Reach out to the builder:

After creating your request, we recommend that you reach out to the builder via Slack or, even better, set up a short call to explain him/her the requirement and clear any questions or doubts they may have.

Follow up:

  1. Follow the building process through the Asana task comments section or the internal client Slack channel.

  2. Also, these channels should be used to notify the builder of any changes or feedback from the client.
