Tagger Competitor Analysis Instructions

  1. Go to signals (left side)

  2. Go to search bar next to my reports - search master competitor analysis

    1. Power Digital Master Competitor Analysis MAKE A COPY

  3. Go to the 3 dots + make a copy

  4. Go to the name + rename it to Power Digital [BRAND NAME] Competitor Analysis

  5. Go to top right and click edit report

  6. Select your date range to 1 year ago today unless you have other context surrounding date of activations

  7. Go to mentions and update to the proper competitors

  8. Go to section in the top right

    1. You will see tabs for each of the brands’ audiences - change the names of each audience to the proper brand names for your competitors

    2. Click save

  9. You should now be in the ‘Leaderboard’ tab

    1. Scrolling down you will see that all of the comparisons are pulled for you

  10. Go to Brand Performance from the top bar (right of leaderboard)

    1. You will see the wrong brand names are here

    2. Go to the 3 dots on the right for each brand and click EDIT - change the name

    3. Scroll all the way down to filters - click add filters

    4. Type in mentioned profiles

      1. NOT MENTIONED PROFILE TYPE

    5. Click the brand name + click save

      1. This will now be updated for the proper brand

    6. Scroll down to your next brand - you will see this is the wrong brand name again

      1. Update title

      2. Scroll all the way down to filters

      3. Add a filter

      4. Mentioned profiles

      5. Type in the brand name + click it

      6. Save

  11. Once the brands are updated from the step above, you will now see in the brand performance tab that all of your comparisons are pulled

  12. You will see that EMV Breakdown By Brand is empty

    1. Click 3 dots on the right

    2. Edit

    3. You will see the 3 brands are wrong again

    4. Click the X’s to delete them and add in your proper brands to the mentioned profiles section (below ‘Columns’) → Save

    5. It will then pull a graph for you on the EMV Breakdown By Brand

  13. Make sure that what you are looking at is ‘Sponsored’ so that is highlighted blue

  14. Go to Overview (top bar)

    1. 3 dots → edit

    2. Change out the 3 brands to the correct ones the same way you did for the the brand performance bar

    3. As you scroll down for each of the options (engagement rate by content type, EMV by content type, count of posts by content type, etc.) click the 3 dots and change out the brands as you have done in the columns section

    4. When you are looking at engagement rate by content type and see ‘Video’ it means TikTok

  15. Go to Profiles

    1. Toggle the bar to sponsored

    2. This will pull the top creators that each brand has worked with

    3. Click the 3 dots → edit

    4. Scroll all the way down

    5. Add filters

    6. Mentioned profiles

    7. Add your brand + update the title to the brand

    8. This will now pull just for the one brand the top creators they worked with

  16. Go to Content

    1. Same as before here, click your 3 dots on the right and edit to update the brand name and filter to mentioned profiles → the brand

    2. You can filter how it is sorted (engagement, etc.)

  17. Go to Categories - this pulls in the categories of creators that brands have been working with

    1. Same as before, 3 dots → edit → update brand name + add filters to mentioned profiles → the proper brand name

    2. Repeat the above step for all brands you are comparing

  18. Go to Creator Audience (you will see there is one here for each of the brands you are comparing)

    1. Repeat the below instructions for each of the brands you are comparing

    2. You can see all audience demographics here for the creators these brands are working with

    3. Click Add Filters (top left)

    4. Mentioned profiles → change to the proper brand

    5. This is where you can see creator locations (cities, states)
