What are Strategists responsible for?

  • Entering Budgets into the “Budget” Column of Budget Tracker tab for the respective month - this is due by the LAST DAY of the month, before the new month begins

  • Entering actuals into the “Actuals” Column of the Budget Tracker tab for the previous month - this is due by the 3rd of the month

  • If running in DV360 - use the CM360 Adserving Calculator to calculate fees + media spend, and list the two as separate budgets in the tracker. The “DV360 Media Spend” is the amount that should be put in platform as the budget and the total of the two should equal the TOTAL budget that the client has agreed to

Additional Notes:

  • Recon will be done on a quarterly basis - DO NOT account for any over or under spend within the next month’s budgets

  • Strategists DO NOT need to update anything in the Pre-Bill Tracker Tabs, all amounts are automated and Adrian will be notifying Finance when invoices are ready to be sent

  • Actuals are the amounts spent in platform, and should not reflect what we are invoiced by the vendor

  • There will be a new Budget Tracker tab each quarter, so please ensure you are using the correct one

  • Please flag to Adrian if new client is added to Budget Tracker
