TRACKING SHEET
The tracking sheet is a tool used to have a high-level overview of the different features implemented on the client’s website by sprint.
As an account manager it is your duty to keep this sheet updated at all times, specially before a client call.
Use this Tracking Sheet Template, make a copy and add it to the client’s Folder so the client can have full visibility of what is being worked on, what has been completed and when it was completed. This is a very useful tool for clients that are not very tech savvy and like to work out of Google Spreadsheets.
The tracking sheet has the following components:
Heading
Change to the client’s name
Add the link to the Growth Status Deck
Add the Kickoff Date
Columns
A/B = Task: Add the feature’s name
C = Description: Add the description of the feature, you can use the Hypothesis/Overview that the Growth Lead added to the slide in the growth Deck
D = Status: Choose the status of the task in the pipeline
E = Department: Select the department in charge of executing the task or that is currently executing it.
F = Comments: In this cell, you or the client can add any comments or feedback. It is also very useful for the GL if you add the dates in which a test started, ended or a feature was pushed live
G = Design Link / Development link: Use this cell to add any design links or preview links shared by the designers/devs so the client can have easy access to it.
H/I = Client Design/Dev Approval: Check the box as soon as the client confirms their approval and update the status of the feature in column D
Pro Tips
Some Fellow Account Managers like to add an additional column that can be used for the client to add their priorities guiding you on how to better prioritize each task in your pod’s backlog planning
The Template is divided in sections for the different sprints, feel free to add or remove any rows as you need it. You can also use the unfoldable icons in the left to show or hide rows for better visibility
