Instructions:
Before submitting a request, please make sure to confirm the following:
1.) Confirm with client that they've already migrated to GA4
2.) Confirm the correct G4 Property
Clients will often set up a dummy or test account, so please confirm!
Filling out the Request:
Submit your request to migrate current GDS dashboard to GA4 through the normal process, as follows:
Fill out the reporting request form here
Task Type = Existing GDS Update (Note: You will need to have the link to the most up-to-date GDS dashboard)
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have a legacy client that does not use and/or have a GDS dashboard currently set up, use the task type = New GDS Looker Report/Report Creation.
In the “Additional Notes” section, simply request for the existing GDS dashboard to be updated using GA4 data
The DI team will understand what to change for standard Organic Search KPIs (i.e. traffic, revenue, etc.)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Current GA4 setup does not allow for regex’s or filters to include different page types (i.e. /product & /collection); however, this is possible using GDS, so please request a module for PDM-optimized pages & share the appropriate G-sheet with the URLs.
Track your request via the Reporting & Tracking Request Dashboard asana board here
Disclaimer: For those on cross-channel accounts, check with your AM/AD to make sure this request hasn't already been made and/or if there are plans to update the GDS report in the coming weeks. All new client dashboards will use the “Standard” GDS report below, using GA4 data on/after 7/1/23 and UA data before 7/1/23.
