Re-signs & Service Expansion Commission Deployment

The full process behind running commissions for team members out of nova Blueprints, as well as the approval process.

Who This Applies to: All Account Directors & Account Managers

What’s New:

All commissions for re-signs and service expansions must be entered for all team members applicable in the new "Team Commissions" tab on Blueprints.

  1. Under the Team Commissions section, the AD/AM who created the Blueprint is responsible for adding a percentage commission to each team member who worked on that client.

  2. Automating commission allocation within nova will ensure commissions are sent and approved quickly by the team. This will also enable aggregate tracking of team member commissions and proper amounts are paid.

  3. When marking a Blueprint as WON, make sure all aspects are accurate as this will trigger the approval flow.

  4. When a Blueprint is marked as Won, it is added to the “Blueprint Approval Queue” for approval by the department heads and Finance/Accounting.

  5. Once approved, an email will be sent out to the department heads to check the commission percentages for each team member.

  6. Department heads can also check for the approvals under the “Approvals” tab

  7. Once approved by the department head(s), another email will be sent to accounting stating that all commissions are accurate and ready to be paid.

  8. If a department head does not approve, it will deny and send a message to the AD/AM. The cycle repeats until it is approved.
